Two more people have died of dengue in the country in the last 24 hours. Another 458 people have been admitted to hospitals during the same period. This information was given in a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services on Friday (November 22).

It said that 468 people have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours. Two of the deaths during this period were women. Of these, one person died each in the Dhaka South City Corporation area and Khulna division.

Analysis of the data of the Directorate General of Health Services revealed that a maximum of 112 people have been admitted to various hospitals in the Dhaka North City Corporation area in the last 24 hours with dengue.

In addition, 67 people have been admitted to hospitals in Dhaka South City Corporation, 62 in Chittagong division, 65 in Khulna division, 58 in Dhaka division excluding the two cities, 47 in Rajshahi division, 22 in Mymensingh division, 20 in Barisal division, 2 in Rangpur division and 1 in Sylhet division.
