After killing his mother in Cox’s Bazar, a young man by the name of Hossain Mohammad Abid turned himself in at the police station. The event happened in the city’s West Barua district on Friday, November 22, at approximately 2:30 in the morning.

It is known that Niaz Ahmed, Abid’s father, was receiving treatment at his daughter’s home in Chittagong. Consequently, Abid was at home with his mother.Anwara Begum, Abid’s mother, was frequently tortured in order to obtain drug money. Around 2:30 in the morning on Friday, he killed his mother in a violent manner at home before turning himself in at the police station. The face, head, and hands of the deceased Anwara Begum are bruised.
Hossain Mohammad Abid has been taken into custody, according to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ilyas of the Cox’s Bazar Sadar Model Police Station. To determine the cause of the murder, an investigation is being conducted. After being found, the body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
