Traders are protesting on the streets in protest of theft at a mobile shop in Jamuna Future Park. Along with the police, members of the army are also present there to control the situation.
Abdus Samad, a shop manager, said that a mobile shop was robbed at night. Shop owners and employees took to the streets in protest.

HM Shafiqur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner of Badda Zone of the Gulshan Division of the Police, said around 2:30 pm, as far as we have heard, a mobile shop in Jamuna Future Park was robbed last night. On Friday (November 12) at 12 noon, shopkeepers protested by blocking the road for a time. After a while, they left the road. After Friday prayers, they took to the streets again.

A person named Farhatul Jannat wrote that fighting and vandalism are going on in Jamuna Future Park over mobile theft. Do not come to visit Jamuna Future Park today.
The protesters have posted many videos in various groups on Facebook. There, a glass door was seen vandalized. Army personnel were also seen controlling the situation in various videos.

Bhatara Police Station OC Mohammad Mazharul Islam said around 2:30 pm, “We are here. We are talking to both sides. I will give you an update later.”
