The Canadian High Commission in Dhaka has published a recruitment notice. Two officers will be appointed in two categories of posts in this organization. Interested Bangladeshi candidates must apply online. Applications can be made until December 4.

1. Name of the post: Senior International Assistance Officer
Number of posts: 1
Eligibility: Must have a master’s degree in any subject from a recognized university. Must have at least five years of work experience in international assistance project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Must have at least two years of work experience in a supervisory position in an organization in recent times. Must have experience working in a diplomatic mission. Must have knowledge of international assistance and its trends in Bangladesh. Must have decision-making and leadership capabilities. Must be skilled in communication. Must have knowledge of Canada’s international assistance policies and programs. Must be fluent in Bengali and English. Must have a travel mentality.

Job type: Contractual

Working hours: 37.5 hours a week. Two days off a week.

Place of work: Dhaka (High Commission of Canada)

Salary: Annual salary of 35,03,041 taka.

2. Name of the post: International Assistance Officer
Number of posts: 1

Eligibility: Must have a Master’s degree in any subject from a recognized university. Must have at least three years of work experience in international assistance project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Must have work experience in Rohingya refugee crisis response or humanitarian response in Bangladesh. Must have knowledge of international assistance and its trends in Bangladesh. Must also have work experience in a diplomatic mission. Must have decision-making and leadership skills. Must be skilled in communication. Must have knowledge of Canada’s international assistance policies and programs. Must be fluent in Bengali and English. Must know the regional or Rohingya language of Chittagong. Must have a traveling mentality.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (two days off per week)

Salary: Annual salary of 20,73,121 Taka.
