During the first 23 days of November, 172 million US dollars were remitted by expatriates. This indicates that remittances of 75 million dollars have been received daily on average.


The latest report released by Bangladesh Bank on Sunday, November 24, disclosed this information.The Central Bank reports that on October 23, 172 million 27 million dollars arrived in the nation. As a result, this month’s remittance flow has somewhat increased.


The state-owned banks received 63.99 million twenty thousand dollars in the first twenty-three days of November. Specialized banks have 13 crore 10 lakh 40 thousand dollars, private banks have 95 crore 13 lakh 10 thousand dollars, and foreign sector banks have 4 million 80 thousand dollars.


After remittances of USD 253.86 million in June, the lowest in the previous ten months, expatriates sent about USD 191 million in July, the first month of the current fiscal year. However, things began to return to normal after the interim administration was established.In keeping with this, this August, foreigners sent 222 crore 13 lakh 20,000 US dollars in remittances. In addition, last September saw the nation receive the largest remittance of the current fiscal year, totaling 240 crore 47 lakh 90 thousand dollars. In October, 239 million, 50 million, and 80 thousand US dollars arrived.
