Three Chhatra Dal employees were beaten and assaulted by the leaders and activists of the outlawed student organization Chhatra League for responding “ha ha” to the Awami League president Sheikh Hasina’s Facebook photo.

The event happened early on Sunday, November 24, in the Zuluhar market in the Nesharabad upazila of Pirojpur.

The defendants are: Sahidul Islam’s son from the same region. Siam, Farju, son of Farooq Hossain, and Riyad, son of Mojibur Rahman. They are members of the Samudayakathi Union’s Ward No. 6 Chhatra League, a banned organization.

Riyad, the son of Zuluhar village in the upazila’s Awami League leader Mojibur Rahman, is alleged to have shared Sheikh Hasina’s photo on Facebook. Some of the Chhatra Dal gave ‘ha ha respond’ in this photo. I’m furious about this. Siam, Hasan, and Rian of Chhatra Dal were attacked and hurt by Siam, Riyad, and Farju.
