The United Arab Emirates has arrested three people in connection with the murder of an Israeli citizen, the country’s Interior Ministry said on Sunday (November 24). Reuters

The country’s Interior Ministry did not provide details about the arrests. However, it said that the maximum force of the law will be applied against the accused.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office condemned the killing of 28-year-old Javi Kogan, comparing it to anti-Israel terrorism. At the same time, it said that all efforts will be made to achieve justice in the killing of Kogan.

Local authorities said that Kogan was a resident of the United Arab Emirates and was also a citizen of Malvo. He disappeared last Thursday and his body was recovered on Sunday.

Yousef Al Otaibi, the UAE ambassador to Washington, said that the killing of Kogan amounted to a crime against the United Arab Emirates. This incident has damaged our homeland, values ​​​​and vision.

In a statement to X Post, he added, “We prefer a peaceful self-determination. We oppose all forms of fanaticism and extremism.”
