The Israeli military has continued its deadly attacks in Lebanon. The latest attacks killed 31 more people in the Middle Eastern country in a single day. Most of the dead were residents of the country’s south. The attacks and deaths occurred amid talks on a ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it had hit about 25 targets linked to Hezbollah. The areas of the attacks included Nabatieh, Baalbek, the Bekaa Valley and south Beirut and its surrounding areas.

Lebanon’s state-run News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli airstrikes were carried out in a fourth wave of south Beirut on Monday evening. They hit targets in the Haret Harik and Shiah districts.

The Lebanese Health Ministry said on Monday that 3,768 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon since October last year. Nearly 16,000 more Lebanese have been injured.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah has launched more than three hundred missiles into Israeli territory this week.
