Revolutionary zeal and provocative activities have destabilized the country: Advisor Mahfuz
Daily updated news International 25 November 2024 Revolutionary zeal and provocative activities have destabilized the country: Advisor Mahfuz Mahfuz Alam, advisor to the interim government, said that revolutionary zeal and provocative activities have destabilized the country. He posted this on his verified Facebook profile on Monday (November 25) afternoon. In the post, he wrote, “The history of the last ten to fifteen years after the Liberation War is a history of freedom fighters killing each other. Those who did not want Bangladesh to stand on a solid foundation made the freedom fighters kill each other.” It is not that they were not at fault, but history will tell one day how the one-by-one killing of our freedom fighters set Bangladesh back.’ This time, Mahfuz Alam mentioned that the movement was a people’s movement led by brave students and youth, and wrote, ‘But a party and a local and foreign opportunistic establishment have vilified the students in the last three months, created division among the students through various student organizations, and incited another youth group against the students. Moreover, they have not dealt with the students respectfully, but rather have considered the students as enemies.’ Raising the question of whether the outcome of all this is good or not, Mahfuz said, ‘We must remember that foreign powers have no ability to subjugate the people of this country. However, some traitors and stubborn people with a slave mentality have this power. They have shown it in the last three months. If the legitimacy of the students is undermined by pushing them into conflict and killing them, all those who will benefit are involved in this incitement and administrative failure. We will gradually tell everything. Or, you will see it if you open your eyes.’ Referring to the role of many allies as stubborn today, Mahfuz Alam said, ‘We admit our failure. We have learned and are trying to overcome our failures. We will try harder to move forward with everyone. But, stubbornness and the students’ attempts at injustice will harm this nation.’ He said, stubbornness, incitement, creating division and conflict among students and youth, and attempts to make the forces of the uprising reactionary – all will be thwarted, God willing. Highlighting the move towards unity like the morning of August 5, Mahfuz Alam said, “The unity formed organizationally this time will create opportunities for lasting liberation, InshaAllah.” Latest news 25 Nov Revolutionary zeal and provocative activities have destabilized the country: Advisor Mahfuz 25 Nov What the Principal of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College said about the attack on students 25 Nov Police file cases against 8,000 students 25 Nov No students were killed in the clash. 25 Nov Mosquito eradication program in Ward No. 65 initiated by students. 25 Nov Hezbollah launches 340 missile attacks on Israel 25 Nov Iran is preparing to ‘respond’ to Israel 25 Nov UAE arrests 3 over killing of Israeli citizen 25 Nov 23 people tragically die after bus falls into ditch in Brazil 25 Nov Job opportunities at Square Toiletries, apply online All Posts All over the country Cricket Economy Education Campus Entertainment Football Freelance Updates Health and Fitness International Job Market LIve Sports National Politics Sports Uncategorized Revolutionary zeal and provocative activities have destabilized the country: Advisor Mahfuz November 25, 2024/No CommentsRead More What the Principal of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College said about the attack on students November 25, 2024/No Comments Daily updated news International 25 November 2024 What the Principal of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College said about the attack… Read More Police file cases against 8,000 students November 25, 2024/No Comments Daily updated news International 25 November 2024 Police file cases against 8,000 students Police have filed a case against 8,000… Read More No students were killed in the clash. No students were killed in the clash.
Daily updated news All Over The Country 25 November 2024 No students were killed in the clash. No one was killed in the clash between students of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul College and Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said. On Monday (November 25) evening, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) of the Media and Public Relations Department of the DMP, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed this information and said that on November 16, Abhijit Howlader, a student of Demra’s Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College, was admitted to Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital with dengue fever. He later died on November 18. That night, his family and some students of the college vandalized the hospital, alleging that he died due to wrong treatment. On November 20, 500 to 600 students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College again came to the hospital and vandalized it. At one point, the situation got out of control. At that time, under pressure from the protesters, an investigation committee was formed regarding Abhijit’s treatment, including the hospital director, 4 doctors and 2 students. But at that time, the students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College, who were staying in the hospital premises, refused. Later in the evening, the students of the local Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College came to express their solidarity with them. At that time, when the students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College did not agree to the compromise, a scuffle broke out between the two sides. Two students of Shaheed Suhrawardy College were injured in this. Later, the situation was brought under control with the intervention of the police. He said that on Monday, November 24, at around 2 pm, the students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College again vandalized Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital. At one stage, they carried out extensive vandalism and looting at Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College. In light of this incident, around 12 to 15 thousand students of Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College gathered today (November 25) and at around 11 am, they marched to Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. Police had already positioned themselves in front of Dhaka National Medical College and Suhrawardy College. But the unruly and violent students resisted the police barricades and moved towards Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. Later, the police barricaded them again at Jatrabari intersection, but they managed to cross the barricades and reach the college and carried out widespread vandalism and looting. He also said that a forum called United College of Bangladesh (UCB) was formed by students from 35 different colleges. On the other hand, there is an alliance of students from seven colleges in the capital, including Dhaka College, Eden College, Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Government Titumir College, Begum Badrunnesa College, Mirpur Bangla College and Government Kabi Nazrul College. For the past few days, Dr. The death of Abhijit, a student of Mahbubur Rahman Molla College, has created tension, chases and hatred towards each other among the students of 35 colleges and seven colleges. To deal with this situation, adequate manpower was deployed in Sutrapur and Demra areas from 7 am today. The deployed police members tried to control the situation with great patience. But the unruly and violent students crossed the police barricade and advanced towards Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College and attacked the college. The police refrained from using excessive force to avoid any untoward incident. The police tried to control the situation peacefully, fearing that the situation would escalate. Despite this, the agitated students got involved in chases and attacks and looting. The DMP spokesperson said that the Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College and Dr. About 25 students were injured in a chase, counter-chase and clash between students of Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College. Many people are spreading misinformation on social media that two people have been killed in the incident, which is not true at all. Dhaka Metropolitan Police has requested all concerned to refrain from such misinformation.
