But at that time, the students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College, who were staying in the hospital premises, refused. Later in the evening, the students of the local Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Kabi Nazrul College came to express their solidarity with them. At that time, when the students of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College did not agree to the compromise, a scuffle broke out between the two sides. Two students of Shaheed Suhrawardy College were injured in this. Later, the situation was brought under control with the intervention of the police.

But the unruly and violent students crossed the police barricade and advanced towards Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College and attacked the college.
