Rishad not sold in IPL despite getting a team in Big Bash

Rishad not sold in IPL despite getting a team in Big Bash

Rishad Hossain came to the fore with his excellent performance in the T20 World Cup this year. After that, he was called up to play in Australia’s franchise league Big Bash. Rishad also received a clearance from the BCB for the tournament. But in the meantime, this tiger spinner received some bad news.

No franchise showed interest in taking him to the team in the IPL mega auction. So he remained unsold. His base price was 75 lakh rupees.

This year’s mega auction was held in Jeddah, the second largest city in Saudi Arabia, on Sunday (November 24). Rishad’s name was raised on the second day on Monday (November 25). But he did not get a team.

Meanwhile, Rishad will play for Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash. This leg-spinner has received a no-objection certificate to play in Hobart from December 21 to December 29.

Fortune Barisal owner Mizanur Rahman confirmed that Rishad was given a no-objection certificate. The media was informed that Rishad has been given a clearance. He will join the Barisal team on December 29. Hopefully he will return with a good experience.

The Big Bash will start from December 15. Meanwhile, the BPL will start from December 30. It is believed that Rishad may get the opportunity to play two or three matches in the Big Bash.
